We are excited to to say we have added 7 new chicks this week that were hatched out from our own eggs! We've had a busy week in the garden as well planting potatoes, carrots, spinach, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. Although we are done delivering eggs this week, be sure to send a message to be on the list for next week.

Exciting things are happening as the weather continues to warm up! Our seedlings are looking great and we've been getting the garden ready for cool weather crops (cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower.) We are also trying our hand at hatching out chicks from our own eggs. 3 weeks until hatch, just in time for Easter chicks!

12 dozen eggs delivered to West Liberty, Wilton, and Nichols this morning! We are happy to say we are back to our normal weekly delivery schedule and as spring approaches we hope to add more customers. Send us a message if you'd like to be put on a list as more eggs are available.

Although the chickens weren't a fan of the ice yesterday, it sure made for some beautiful pictures.

With the seasons changing we are switching things up for a bit! As the days grow shorter, the amount of eggs we get drops drastically due to hormone changes that slow down egg production in chickens. Our goal is to continue to provide consistent delivery to all our customers; so for now we will be delivering every other week. We will be adding more chicks again in the spring so stay tuned as things continue to grow!

Now that Halloween is over we'd like to take your pumpkins and gourds! If anyone has any leftover pumpkins that are not painted on or have other chemicals on them we'd love to feed them back to our chickens. Let us know what you have and we'll take them off your hands.
