I watched the sunset at
QL Horsepark and said my goodbyes to a place that was home to many of us and to others a beautiful place to spend some time. As hard as it was to leave, I feel blessed and extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful place.
My borders and their horses were not just clients. We all became a family and developed lifelong friendships. You are what made QL special. We shared tears,struggles, celebrated personal goals, and thanks to Libby the best belly laughs ever!!
Most of all I would like to thank my staff. You made it all possible! I always bragged about having the best staff any one could ask for. You girls were dedicated, dependable, hard core and fun to work with. Harmony girl you make me proud!
Thank you to Papa John for our amazing hay, Bobby for making sure our equipment ran, everyone who helped keep us going and Mrs. Sandi for putting us on the map with her legendary Snack Shack!
Your fans, especially Johnny Collins, would stop in for lunch if they heard there was a horse show going on.
Thank you to my fiancee Mason for your help, love and support over the years while I lived the dream. Your patience did not go unnoticed.
And to you Ashleigh, you came to QL as a stranger, made it your home, became a top notch manager and my best friend.
As the sun went down, I drove away with a thankful heart full of memories.
