Meet some of our curious “soon to be” Moms! These girls reside in our Finish Barn- where they stay healthy and plump with their diet made of dry hay, haylage, corn, protein, and grains. 🌽🌾 As you can see in the bottom picture they enjoy their feed and lick the floor clean! Throughout the day and evening we push feed back up to the curb for them to reach.
Once these girls are a few weeks from their due date they’ll return back home to freshen. Just like us- heifers carry their babies for 9 months. 🐮

Our Transition Barn girls were enjoying their TMR yesterday morning. 🐮🌽

TMR stands for Total Mixed Ration which combines forages, grains, proteins, and minerals together; providing our girls with the nutrition they need.
