Scored some amazing homemade goodies today while on the milk run. Moccasin Junction has items made by Payne Barker from Kingsport and Mann Farms has treats for sale from Kitchen Table out of Gate City. And what could be better with them than a big glass of Nash Creamery Milk. Shop small business; shop local.

Refereeing today, in addition to regular milk duties….and a “milk out” can is used to divert milk away from the regular milk line, usually when you have a new cow coming in after calving and it takes a few days for her milk to be usable.

Took a trip to Paris last week…as in Kentucky for a little getaway time. Caught an antique tractor show, historical sites, and vendor malls. Got a milk can that is actually going to be used at the milk barn for a milk out can as the one we were using has seen better days. Anyone know what a milk out can is????

Thank you to everyone who took the time to wish us Happy Anniversary and to wish the milk man Happy Birthday. And when you are a milkman what better present than a new calf and a heifer at that! Momma cow is a Guernsey so next week you will be getting some great milk !!!
