Pumpkin Hollow Nickerson, Nebraska

Pumpkin Hollow Nickerson, Nebraska A privately owned pumpkin patch just north of Nickerson, Nebraska, you will find a large selection of unique fall pumpkins, gourds, and more.

Every year in January, seed catalogs start to pile up in our mailbox and so begins the planning process. We're always looking for new and exciting varieties, as well as keeping the traditional "Halloween pumpkins" as a large part of our patch. Wanting a simple set up, we offer wagons to pull your patch-finds in (or your kids), and only the 6 acre patch that the pumpkins have been growing in all su

mmer. (So be sure to wear sturdy shoes, especially if its rained recently.) In early September, we start blazing trails through the more than 3 foot high vines to allow better access to all areas of the patch. Once the weather gets cool enough, usually in late September, the vines will die down to reveal thousands of orange, yellow, green, pink, white, and blue pumpkins of every size! We would love to have you and your family out for a quiet, relaxing trek through the vines in search for your perfect pumpkin!
