So today was much cooler and I got much more done and I needed to get it done so they said it was gonna rain and this evening we got rain. It is raining off and on right now and boy do we need it.

 I love music, which some of you already know and I’m all excited because the country music shows on tonight. I don’t know if their awards or if it’s just a show but anyway I’m all excited cause it’s three hours. I’m sure I will sleep through part of it.  This is dangerous liaison, and it is gorgeous.  I could not find my photo so this is borrowed from wiki and it is wonderful in every way.

I hope everyone’s day is going well. I am having a nice workday indoors and out.
 I am posting this Blue Iris and I did not check to see if I already posted it or not. Many of you ask for Blue Iris and this is one that always gets overlooked by me. It is in the back where I don’t always see it but when it blooms, there is no missing it. It smells wonderful and it is tall and it has a very long bloom time starting late into very late. This Iris is called gracious me from the Aikins up in Washington State. It is definitely blue and not purple. If you want to order it or add it to an order, you already have please message me.

This is a beautiful plictas iris from Keith Keppel. Most or many are early but this one is a late bloomer and bloomed all the eay into June.

I have been trying to work on invoices during the heat of the day and I am finding that many of you still have not paid so if you were able, please get a payment if an invoice has been sent to you if you need it resent please let me know.  I have to keep handling the paper back-and-forth so I can write paid on them  when they are paid.

Today will be a little about everything. Getting ready for trash day! Working on labels inside, doing dishes, working on invoices, cleaning my kitchen counter🤪😱😳right now it looks like a game of jinja, how high will it go??? Finding photos of Iris that are available for this season and cleaning off my bed AKA my iris desk!

This spot starter is one of them. Spot Starter is right at the beginning of the row so I can never miss it! It was the winner of AIS awards and it is an early bloom with a wonderful scent.  I am not sure what it looks like the way you were viewing it but this Iris is purple not blue.  Let me know if you want to add it to your order or start an order by sending me a message.

It was an iris person that told me about this wasp killer stuff. For me it has been truly life-changing. I wish I remember her name if it was you please holler out.

Many of you know I like to be helpful and sharing what I know is one of the ways, it is just in my nature.

About 4 years ago while out working in the iris I came upon a very huge wasp 🐝 nest, did I say huge? I took some stings and I was in excruciating pain and distress for hours later.

Someone told here told me about Sting Kill! This stuff was a lifesaver! I want all of you to know about it too!
Our Walmart carries it and it is very inexpensive!

Good Morning!
We have been all over the weather! Hot heat today and rain tomorrow!  This is a very favorite Iris of mine from a lady by the name of Barbara Nicodemus. She is no longer with us and it is our loss because her Iris introductions were just gorgeous. This is one of them, Crimson Lights. It is a mid season bloom and described a cherry black that it definitely is just that I have been growing this for years all the way back in California. Crimson Lights has a very nice scent. Some of you are dealing with super uncomfortable weather! I am so sorry! Please be careful out there!

We are not near as hot as you but I still must work while it is early and cool and rest in the heat of the day!

I have been cutting berries and putting out new labels that seem to have all decided to fade at the same time!🤪 Waiting for our heat wave to pass. Too hot to be out in it but lots of paperwork to do.

The iris will be available season 27 which orders willl begin in November 2026. I love love this itis
