We had such a fun time at the Tennessee Valley Jamboree this weekend. This show is always a blast and SO well run, we look forward to it each year!! I made the trip solo this time, but it never feels that way with our wonderful goat family ❤️

Our highlight was Woody Creek Farm Playdoe receiving champion junior doe and then going on to earn her first point pending verification under judge Ricky Jorgenson. I have always loved this doe and am so proud of her, especially being down south with tough competition. She was also in great company with Tara and her absolutely gorgeous senior doe!

We can't wait to see everyone in a few weeks at the IL show!

This will likely be our last buckling offered for the season. Im sure most of you know by now, but I am VERY picky about what leaves here intact. This guy checks all the boxes and should make a nice addition to someones herd, he is very well muscled for his age, tracks wide and has the pedigree to back it up! Videos available upon request.

His sire was the champion junior buck at the 2025 Indiana State Fair and dam has earned 1x GCH point with MGR.

I don’t post much about the other animals we have here at the farm, but I have to brag on my husband for a minute. He has been researching bees for about two years now, including building a hive and planting flowers out at the family compound for them. For whatever reason, he has been hesitant to pull the trigger on ordering his bees though. Yesterday, nature decided to provide an opportunity and he managed to capture a swarm at our neighbors house with no bee suit or equipment, aside from the yard rake he used on them🤦🏼‍♀️😬😂

A little crazy in my opinion, but it worked and he got them in the box and moved out to the hive last night. So lets hope they like their new digs and decide to stick around for a while 🐝

It was a long trip, but we are so glad we decided to make our way down to Texas this weekend. It was amazing to see our show family after the long off season!

Our boy made the trip worth while, pending verification, Falling for you Farms Lawless earned his second official point! Even better standing up there with one of my favorite pairs! We will be hard at work on that last one but enjoying every minute of him still attending shows with us ❤️

Can't wait to see everyone in TN next weekend!!
