BUTCHER 4 pick up! Invoices were sent; check your emails. Please note there are dumpsters and debris in the neighborhood from flooding we recommend you enter on the north end of riverwood drive closest to our house. One of us is going to try be at home the whole pick up window or around…We may not be physically at the house at time of pick up. However we will be leaving a walkie talkie and/or have the ring door bell so please utilize one or both at pick up time so we are alerted to your arrival. We will be out in the neighborhood likely helping still with recover from the flooding and will be with you shortly if one of us is not there. I know this is a strange time thank you for your patience!

I know we said the invoices would be out by tonight for butcher 4… don’t hate us! We will have them out as soon as we can. We have had a long 10 days of helping with flood relief efforts. We are trying to slowly get things back into a bit of a normal routine starting tomorrow. And trying to select pick up windows right now with the schedules before sending them out. Thank you for your support and patience. This photo sums up pretty well how we all feel lately. 😴. The pups got a big grooming done after all the rain lately they were a mess.

As flood recovery efforts are still on going; Nick & I did have to pause here and there this week for work and chicken business. We looked like a couple chickens running around between task to task and job to help to job to cheer practice, etc. Thankfully our processor was unaffected and we could safely get the birds there. Please be patient with messages, orders, invoices, etc as we navigate our schedules and trying to aid our neighbors the best we can.

A huge thank you to the community we have so much work to do out here still but all the donations so far have helped so much on getting efforts started. we have been passing out cleaning kits to those coming in today and will continue as they trickle in this week. Right now we are assessing what we have and organizing the things we do have to try and make sure we aren’t taking in things that we do not need or may not be ready for yet. And working to get ideas of needs we may be missing. I am sorry if you have messaged about questions on needs or how to help and I haven’t gotten back to you. I am in the trenches of doing my best to be boots on the ground getting these things organized and to neighbors to help them. Nick has been out running pumps to get water out of houses. We cannot thank our direct neighbors for pitching in and lending a hand today, my coworkers, family, friends, community folks, churches, chicken customers, sheriffs, dumpster companies, candidates for local elections, the list goes on and I am sorry if I don’t list you and I’m sorry if we met today and i forget your name or we have talked on the phone etc, the overwhelming out poor of support has been a lot to manage and take in, and my brain is everywhere. So I am sorry and thank you for your patience and thank you for your help.
