Hoosier Heritage Farm Hoosier Heritage Farm sells local, pasture-raised meat and eggs direct to the consumer.

The mission of Hoosier Heritage Farm is to provide healthful food in a way that preserves the environment, produces happy animals, and meets the needs of local consumers, including the chance to see and participate in how their food is grown. Three generations of our family have worked this land, and we are proud to continue that tradition by producing pastured poultry, grass-fed beef, and pastured pork for sale direct to the consumer.

“You have the best eggs, but . . . you never seem to have any.” That’s been a frequent comment lately. The bad news is that we’ve had a pretty severe predator problem this summer, and our laying flock is smaller than usual. The good news is that we have a lot of pullets (a female chicken that hasn’t laid an egg yet) coming on line soon. So we should have a better inventory of eggs over the next couple months. Again, thanks for your patience.

IT’S TIME 🦃. It’s been another great year for growing turkeys on our green pastures, and now they are ready for your holiday table!

Last year we offered a number of deals to make your Thanksgiving extra special. That was so well received we are doing it again! In addition to our whole pasture-raised turkeys, we are offering breakfast deals for Thanksgiving (you can’t eat Thanksgiving dinner on an empty stomach!). And if you need even more turkey, you’ll find deals on turkey parts for those extra guests (available October 9th).
