SEASONS
One of the greatest lessons that I have learned through flower farming has been everything happens in seasons. Each season is different and you can never fully predict what a season might look like. Weather, crops and pests are just some of the variables that can affect each season.
Since we started flower farming, we have seen so many different seasons - no two are ever the same. And whether you are a farmer or not the arguement can be made this goes for all seasons of life.
When we started on our journey of flower farming our children were much younger and in that beautiful season we enjoyed a slower life with days spent on the property exploring and growing. Many seasons have happened within 5 years and we now find ourselves in a new beautiful season, one where we are teaching our children, coaching teams, running to many extracurricular activities and helping them grow into beautiful responsible youth/teenagers so that they become successful, faithful filled adults. Both seasons are so very beautiful and so very different.
So what does the fall season look like for Wild Blue Farm? Our love for flowers stays with us through each and every season. We have thousands of dahlia plants in the ground as well as other beautiful crops. We will be selling our flowers at Metro flowers where both public and designers can come and purchase wholesale, working with diesigners, we will offer buckets of blooms for weddings and diy design, we have a few fun events set up for workshops (more to come), and there will be specific weekends where we will open the cottage where our bouquets & dahlia bunches available (we will be sure to announce ahead of time here).
One thing that remains consistent through each season is that are so grateful to each and everyone of you here!
We are looking beautiful to this beautiful fall season
