Fair Winds & Following Bees Farm LLC

Fair Winds & Following Bees Farm LLC Passionate about horses and beekeeping, we offer equine boarding and beekeeping mentorships. A common phrase heard in the U.S.

Navy is “Fair Winds and Following Seas.” It carries a lot of meaning. In one sense, it is a wish for good weather and safe travels; in another, it is a verbal gesture of good luck to those leaving port and heading out into the great and empty expanses of the seven seas. (Credit: Dan Doyle)

In honor of co-owner Paul Prokopovich's many years of service in the U.S. Navy, and in a humorous nod to his

love of beekeeping, Fair Winds & Following Bees Farm was born. We have a love for horses and bees, offering equine boarding services and beekeeping mentorships at our small family-owned farm.

We announced our little farm just three short weeks ago and we’ve been overwhelmed by the support of our community and friends. In just six short days, we have hit our current capacity, welcoming Sam Casselbury’s darling donkeys and signing paperwork for two more Thoroughbreds to join us before month-end. We will announce additional capacity as it comes online, but for now, we are truly humbled and grateful for the blessings everyone has been to our little adventure. Thank you so very much.

Yesterday we welcomed a small herd of Sam Casselbury’s donkeys to the farm! Wilbur, Oscar, Dudley, Tacoma, Allie, Roscoe, Tinkerbell and little Kiwi, who was just born early in the morning on July 31st. We sure have a lot of donkey attitude around here! 😎 🫏
