Thank you again for your visits at the farm stand and at the farm. You meet the nicest people at the end of your driveway. We will open again next weekend.

The stand is open (just a few minutes late). We are open til 5. There is wonderful green cabbage, lettuce, bok Choi, chard and spinach. Peapods and snap peas will be out there in another couple minutes. Eggs and jams. The red beets are gorgeous and roast so sweet.

A huge “thank you “ for everyone who stopped at the stand today. It was a sell out! I will not be open tomorrow but will be back next week.

Morning!
The stand is ready and open!
We are offering fresh vegetables ( cauliflower and broccoli are cute small heads). White and green bok Choi, and a variety of radishes.
Try a new radish…wasabi daikons are wonderful raw, pickled, in salads. They are a bit spicy! Peel it first. The long white daikons are just as wonderful and milder in flavor. Don’t forget your eggs for the long weekend!

Good Morning!
Moose Acres farm stand will open Saturday morning 9-5, and the same on Sunday. We are offering salad, radishes, lettuce, and rhubarb (to go with some of those strawberries that have been picked). There will be other greens offered as well. Don't forget the eggs, the girls have been busy. Photos to follow.😃

The farm stand is open with delicious, nutritious, clean vegetables. Clean meaning no harmful sprays. We are open til 5. If I run out of anything, I can get more from the tunnel.

Here's some additional information for folks interested in visiting our Moose Acres Farm stand:
The address is 14450 Owls Net Road, Nokesville VA
It's an honor stand, and we take cash, Venmo, and Zelle. If you need change for cash or want to use a credit card with Square, please find Marie or Ron and we'll help you out.
We're also anxious to show off the farm and give people a preview of the wonderful products we'll have available as the season progresses.
We look forward to seeing many of you for our opening weekend.

Good Afternoon! and what a muggy day it is?! Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 will be the opening days of the Moose Acres Farmstand. We have had a busy winter growing, laying eggs, and constructing a stand for the road. It will be like all the stands and it is an honor stand. It will be open Friday starting at noon til 6 and Saturday from 9 -5. Stop in and see what has been growing.
There will be greens (chard and kale), lettuce, maybe radishes, salad mix, eggs, jams and jellies...barking dogs and tweeting birds.
Depending upon whether I get the stand painted and a canopy made we may start with a table set up under a canopy. No problem...stop by anyway.
Hope to see people stopping and looking!

Today's debut is fresh tomatillo salsa verde. Choose between mild and spicy. Quantities are very limited. We've also got some big slicing tomatoes - red and yellow - and the cherry tomatoes are starting to hit peak production. Come visit Marie and Moose Acres Farm today at the Warrenton Farmer's Market until noon today.

This week Moose Acres Farm has a special treat at the Warrenton Farmers Market: Honey! Our bees made this honey from a combination of berry, wildflower, and buckwheat nectar that gives it a sweetness with a gorgeous dark color. Limited quantities - get yours today.
Also, we have our first tomatoes - cherry and slicers. They've definitely passed the home taste test and we're sure you'll like them too. And we have eggplant for the first time this year. The summer produce is really starting to come in nicely.

Another wonderful Saturday morning to visit the Warrenton Farmers Market. This week I have a couple bags of new potatoes and some peas along with all the spring regulars. Or get a head of Napa cabbage and a nice diakon radish and make your own kimchi. Or some really nice beets. See you there: 8-12 today.

It's Memorial Day weekend, and the weather is perfect for a visit to the Warrenton Farmer's Market. You should see the size of the daikon radishes I brought today! Sliced thin and quick piclked they're a great side for your BBQ.

It's here! Today is opening day for the summer Warrenton Farmer's Market. All your favorite vendors have returned for the new season. I've got some wonderful early season greens (salad mix, kale and Swiss chard), spring garlic, and leeks along with a large variety of jams and jellies and plenty of farm fresh eggs. Come say hello at the Moose Acres Farm purplish canopy and see what all us vendors have to offer. See you there: 8-12 today and every Saturday until Thanksgiving.
