WE ARE HIRING: for our Thursday Wild Atelier 9-1 pm

Our Thursday program for children ages 2- 7 intentionally different from a traditional classroom. It is a free-flow, child-led learning environment where carefully prepared invitations and beautiful, thoughtfully curated spaces encourage children to follow their curiosity and engage deeply in their work.
We are looking for the person who can help us bring that environment to life.

The Role

We are seeking a Montessori Atelier & Outdoor Learning Facilitator to lead our Thursday program for children ages 2–7.

This is not a traditional teaching position.
You will be responsible for preparing the environment, curating meaningful invitations to explore, observing children closely, and knowing when to step in—and when to step back.

You are creating the conditions for discovery.

A child may spend an hour building something, become fascinated by a worm in the garden, move from painting to weaving, return to a project from the previous week, or gather around a practical-life activity with a friend.

We don't need someone who needs every child doing the same thing at the same time.

We need someone who can see the learning happening inside the curiosity.

The Thursday WILD Atelier
Each week, you will transform our outdoor learning environment into a place children are drawn toward.
You will curate beautiful, purposeful invitations that may include:

Art, painting, drawing, sculpture & mixed media
Natural materials, loose parts & found objects
Woodworking, building & simple making
Gardening, planting & nature exploration
Practical life & purposeful work
Fiber, weaving, sewing & handwork
Observation, investigation & discovery
Books, storytelling & language invitations
Water, sand, mud & sensory exploration
Nature collections, specimens & treasures from the farm

The goal isn't to fill a table with activities.

The goal is to curate an environment that makes children want to say, "I wonder..."

If the thought of this absolutely THRILLS YOU

25 min from Sarasota, in Nokomis:

🌿✨ Kingdom Kin Homeschool Co-op is open for registration for Fall 2026 at Lightfoot Farms — and we’re continuing to build something beautiful together. Kingdom Kin at Lightfoot Farms is a 5-acre organic, regenerative farm in Nokomis, FL, where faith, food, and farming meet. We raise pasture-raised chickens, sheep, ducks, and dairy goats with care and integrity—offering families a front-row seat to real farm life through hands-on animal care and seasonal rhythms.

Rooted in faith, nature, and hands-on learning, our Christ-centered co-op nurtures resilience, wonder, and community through programs like:

🐐 Bushcraft & Wilderness Skills — Fire, shelter, water, navigation, traps, tracks, and learning to thrive in God’s creation.

🌱 Garden to Market — Children plant, tend, harvest, and steward their own gardens while learning entrepreneurship through a real farm market.

🔨 Carpentry & Building — Learning alongside our carpenter as they design, measure, build, and bring a real treehouse to life—developing practical skills, craftsmanship, teamwork, and confidence.

📚 Living Academics — Reading, writing, math, and public speaking woven naturally into meaningful, hands-on experiences.

🌿 Herbal Wisdom & Nourishment — Exploring herbs, natural remedies, functional nutrition, and the ways God has provided for our well-being through creation.

🔧 Mechanics & Machines — Getting hands-on with real cars and dirt bikes as children learn to change tires, change oil, use tools, troubleshoot, and understand how machines work from the inside out.

🎨 Art & Curation — Working alongside our Art Director on a month-long creative project, taking an idea from concept to finished piece while learning to curate materials, develop a vision, explore artistic techniques, and create something meaningful.

🙏 Faith Formation — Daily devotions, Scripture memorization, prayer, discipleship, and learning to see God in every area of life.

🐝 Farm & Animal Stewardship — Animal husbandry, beekeeping, homesteading skills, and the daily rhythms of caring for God’s creation as we have over 100 + animals!

At Kingdom Kin, we’re raising wild hearts for the Kingdom—equipping children with faith, courage, wisdom, and practical skills to live purposefully and steward what God has entrusted to them.
