We're excited to be back at Killeen's Local Farmers Market on Saturday, June 27th, from 9 AM–1 PM at Murdoch's!

This market is especially exciting because we're continuing to grow what we offer, and I can't wait to share it with y'all.

As many of you know, after spending three years living in Italy, fresh pasta has always held a special place in my heart. I'm excited to continue bringing more of that craft to the market and sharing it with this community.

🍝✨ BIG NEWS, Y'ALL! ✨🍝

We are excited to announce that Hummingbird Roots & Recipes will be the sole fresh pasta vendor at Killeen's Local Farmers Market moving forward!

This is something I'm especially excited about because it allows me to share a craft that became very close to my heart during the three years my family lived in Italy. While there, I had the opportunity to learn traditional pasta-making techniques and develop a deep appreciation for the simplicity, skill, and care that go into truly fresh pasta.

As we begin offering pasta consistently, our focus is on doing one thing exceptionally well. To ensure every package meets the quality standards you've come to expect from us, we'll be starting with our fresh fettuccine.

But don't worry—we have plenty of other pasta shapes waiting in the wings! 😊

That's where YOU come in:

🍝 What's your favorite pasta shape?
🥟 Do you love stuffed pastas like ravioli, tortellini, or agnolotti?
🌿 What fillings would you like to see? Spinach & ricotta? Four cheese? Mushroom? Roasted garlic? Something completely different?

We're about 2 hours into the market and this is all we have left:

🌞✨ Market Day is HERE and y'all are showing up! ✨🌞

We aren't even an hour into the market and the focaccias are almost gone! 🤯🍞

Thank you so much for supporting our little bakery and making mornings like this possible. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new customers, and watching these breads disappear so quickly is something I'll never take for granted.

Love this!! There are artists out there just waiting to level up your flyers and advertisements. Step away from AI! I personally use canva, but I will be reaching out to Mrs.PhotoFaus to get a few things off of my plate and support another small business.

We are in the thick of a AI flyer epidemic! How about instead we support small artists who want to help support small businesses? 👀 👻

❤️ Y'all have me feeling incredibly grateful today.

The markets on **June 13th and June 27th** are still ahead of us, and I've already started receiving preorders for **both dates!** 🥹

What's really blowing me away is that the **Grilled Peach & Thyme Focaccia**—the flavor so many of y'all asked to bring back—has already been claimed by **three customers** before market day even arrives. 🍑🍞

As a small business owner, this kind of support means everything. Every preorder tells me that what I'm creating is being welcomed into your homes and shared around your tables, and I don't take that lightly.

Well, y'all... because one of our fellow vendors will be out this Saturday, I will stand in and bring back a little something that wasn't originally on the menu.

🍝 **Fresh Pasta is back!** 🍝

I'll have a **limited quantity of fresh fettuccine and lasagna sheets** available this weekend. Once they're gone, they're gone, so if you've been waiting to stock your freezer or planning a homemade pasta night, make sure to stop by early!

I have to leave town, again for two weeks and my friends at Paws and Play are taking care of my Marley! If you are looking for someone to truly love your pet while you're away I highly recommend Paws and Pay.

I love having peace knowing that my third baby is well cared for and loved. And crazy enough he is usually sad to come home 🤣🤣🤣.

After a brief hiatus, our Grilled Peach & Thyme Focaccia is making its return to the Killeen’s Local Farmers Market this Saturday! Sweet grilled peaches, fragrant thyme, and our signature focaccia dough—it's the flavor that sold out and had folks asking when it was coming back.

And speaking of changes...

🥯 The sesame bagels have officially been retired. Let's just say they were picked about as often as the last kid standing in a dodgeball tournament. 😅 In their place, we're sticking with the crowd favorites:
