🦗 Texas Has 5 Seasons
Everybody else gets four seasons.

Here in Texas, we get five:

🌸 Spring — approximately 7 business days
🔥 Summer — 6 months
🍂 False Fall — 3–5 beautiful, deceitful days
🥵 Second Summer — because Texas said S**E
🦗 CRICKET SEASON — currently in progress and apparently lasting until further notice 😂

And since the crickets have officially taken over the sidewalks, parking lots, porches, AND our personal space…

you might as well enjoy Cricket Season with something good from the Nest. 😂

Come grab some handcrafted goodies from Hummingbird Roots & Recipes and make the fifth season a little sweeter.

Because the crickets may be free…
but the focaccia is not. 🤣

Preorders are live! Come visit the Nest. 🐦

🍕 WE FINALLY FOUND A HOME, MY CHARMS!!

Y’all have heard me talk about these pizza classes for what feels like FOREVER—and now I can finally say it:

THE PIZZA CLASS IS HAPPENING! 🙌🏾

And this isn’t a “watch Chef Direka make pizza while you sit there” kind of class. Oh no. 😂

We’re getting our hands in the dough!

You’ll learn how to make your own pizza dough from scratch, stretch it, top it, and turn it into a beautiful Neapolitan-style pizza—all while learning techniques you can actually take home and use again.

Whether you come with your partner, your bestie, or come ready to meet some new people, this is going to be a whole EXPERIENCE. 🍕

She tried a Crinnuffin for the first time and became a believer! Her go to are the plain bagels so I gifted her a Crinnuffin since she was eyeing it and here is her honest reaction. Thank you for being a loyal customer!
