Big First for Nooksack Dairy & Deli!!

We were honored to host our very first event this week with the Whatcom Conservation District as the Whatcom Conservation District's Farm Speaker Series kicked off their season right here at our farm and deli!
Traditionally, at these events they offer pizza to the attendee’s , but this year they chose to feature food from Nooksack Dairy & Deli. It was a great opportunity for us to showcase what we're all about—fresh, local food raised and prepared right here on the farm.
We enjoyed sharing our story, meeting fellow farmers and community members, and letting guests sample some of the products we work hard to produce every day. Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a strong agricultural community.
A huge thank you to the Whatcom Conservation District for choosing our farm as the first stop in this year's series. We hope everyone enjoyed the food and the farm experience as much as we enjoyed hosting you!

A Quick Update for Our Customers
We wanted to let everyone know we are no longer working with DoorDash because of the issues we've been experiencing with our delivery orders.
There have been times when customers placed orders through DoorDash a third-party delivery service, and we had the food prepared and ready on time, but no driver was assigned for an extended periods of time. Unfortunately, some customers ended up waiting much longer periods of time than we thought was acceptable, so we chose to cancel their service.
We think this was more frustrating for us then the customers. Please know that when this happens, the delay is not in our kitchen. We work hard to prepare orders as quickly as possible so you can enjoy fresh food.

🌟 Exciting things are happening at the deli! 🌟
Our outdoor picnic area is really starting to come together! The picnic tables are up and ready, the shipping container has been primed, and we're one step closer to creating a fun gathering place for families and friends.
The biggest excitement is still on the way—the kids' mural will be arriving soon! 🎨🐄 We can't wait to add some color, creativity, and farm fun to the space for everyone to enjoy.
We're working hard to create a welcoming spot where you can relax, enjoy great food, and make memories with family and friends while visiting the deli.
Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this vision to life. We can't wait to share the finished project with all of you!
