Yesterday was a busy but good day on the Farm. We dispatched Lucky (one lone Rabbit from a previous litter), PoCampo and Baller. We separated out 6 of Ramona's babies for selling today and were surprised to find age has more does this time than bucks- so we just might keep the other two does to replace Juanita in our breeding program. And we got a few snuggles from Juanita's current litter. They are starting to venture out of the box and are quite spunky and adorable!

Busy day on the Farm! The baby buns are getting so big! Their hair is coming in 💕( peep those tiny teeth!)

Goober proved once again that he is the BEST bunny Ever- someone left his cage door open yesterday afternoon - and it was still open almost 24 hours later, and yet there sat Goober - just content to stay put til we came back and shut it! He is truly the best!

PoCampo and Baller got more treats today - pork rinds AND scratches!! PoCampo was so excited for Pork rinds that he *may* have nipped my finger! 😬🫣 Guess I can cross 'be bitten by a pig' off my Bucket List now! 🥴🤣 He made up for it by letting me get more scratches in - and he posed for some cute pics too! He's lucky he's cute (and tasty!) 🤣😜

Happy Day here on Bing Acres! I had not one but BOTH of this piggies eating literally out of my hand!! They both got some good scratches - Baller is much more receptive to the lovins than PoCampo - but that is ok! The secret weapon ?? Pork Rinds! 🐷😬🫣🤷🏼‍♀️🤣🤣 Hey - a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do (and so does a pig!)

My new favorite saying "Happier than a pig in a pumpkin patch!" PoCampo and Baller are enjoying their daily goodies! They are still super leery of human contact & but today they did come over to eat while I was still standing nearby! It won't be long before we have them coming up for them scratches! 💞🐷

PoCampo & Baller are already hard at work! They really hadn't done much outside of hang around their house for the last few days - but today I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have ventured out and are really leaving their mark on the different areas of the garden! This makes me very happy! It would make me a lot happier if they would let me hold up MY end of the bargain - and pay them with tummy scratches. 🐷☺️🥳🤷🏼‍♀️ Baby steps I suppose.

Welcome to Bing Acres - PoCampo and Baller! I never imagined pigs could be so adorable but they really are! Baller loves a good tummy scratch already and they are both enjoying having all the slop to themselves! Hopefully they will get to work clearing out this garden so next spring we can be ahead of the game. We made a deal - they work hard and I'll scratch harder! 🩷🐖🐷 So far we are all happy with the agreed upon terms! 😉

Nothing will ruin your day faster than a pile of feathers near the grow out pen! Yesterday morning 2 of our 3 roosters were mauled and killed. The third guy, 'Hugh' was maimed a bit but we are hopeful he will make a full recovery. Late last evening, we found the culprit coming back for seconds. 🙄🫣 He has been neutralized. There is never a dull moment on !
