Good things are worth the wait—especially hot donuts! 🍩🍂

I was getting everything ready for tomorrow when I discovered our donut fryer is not working properly. The replacement part has been ordered and will be here next week, so our pop-up porch sale is moving to next weekend!

Every preorder will receive FREE extra donuts! (We are truly blessed that so many of you have preordered!)

Thank you for your patience and for supporting Finch Mercantile. 🤎

You could say we’re seasoned veterans when it comes to holiday pies! For more than 10 years, Finch Mercantile has been sharing a little kitchen magic and supplying families throughout the area with handmade pies for their holiday tables. Orders are now open for the 2026 holiday season—including our old-fashioned mincemeat pie, made completely from scratch.

A little magic has always lived in my kitchen.

It took years of mixing, testing, adjusting, and starting over to truly master the art of making donuts. Like candy making, it became more than something I simply made—it became a passion, shaped by patience, practice, and plenty of sweet memories.

As I look back on all those years of creating donuts, I’m bringing that experience into this year’s Fall Donut Preorder Menu. 🍂

A few of the flavors we’re working on include:

🍁 Maine Maple
🍎 Apple Butter Crumble
🎃 Pumpkin Spice
🍊 Cranberry Orange
🫐 Maine Blueberry
🤎 Warm Caramel

The final menu—and preorder details—will be coming soon.

Bringing all the ideas I have had in my little book for years are finally coming to life.....

Introducing a first glimpse of the **Hearthside Winter Gown**—created for the woman who wants to settle beside the fire and simply be warm, comfortable and completely at ease.

Generously cut in dark, beautifully textured fabric, this gown is being designed with natural fullness, roomy sleeves, deep pockets and delicate details inspired by old-fashioned winter comfort. Hidden fabric-covered finger rings will help lift the gown while climbing the stairs, leaving your hands free to carry the things that matter.

No ruffles. No fuss. Just timeless beauty, thoughtful practicality and the feeling of being wrapped in warmth on a cold Maine night.

The Hearthside Winter Gown is still taking shape—but winter is coming.

It brings that quiet, comforting feeling that the very best months of the year are finally on their way. 🍂✨
