Even as we sell shares of the herd to those looking for fresh milk, we still have tons of milk from our small herd. So what do you do with 60 gallons of milk? Make cheese and butter of course!

The cheese pictured is Hispanico, a cows milk cheese similar to Manchego. This will go into the cheese cave where it will be turned, oiled and brushed for at least 2 months.

We're not to the point where we can sell cheese, but keep watching our page for updates on the future of cheese production at Twin Pastures!

The hot water heater for the barn wasn't working on Friday. Rita, the unofficial plumber for the farm, got it figured out in a couple hours!
