We are 1 day away from the official 250th Anniversary of our nation’s Declaration of Independence. If a generation is 25 years, we are 10 generations removed from when that generation pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to create. Their creation was nation we have been blessed to grow up in. That nation ended up becoming the most prosperous republic, with the largest middle class in the history of the planet! May we keep it.

Wise generations plant trees which they know future generations will benefit from the shade, as well as the fruit or nut it may produce. May our generation which you and I are a part of have such a vision. May those who will be here 10 generations after us find us faithful!

In the first comment below, I am going to share a clip discussing recent interviews our current Vice President has done. The purpose in sharing isn’t about current headlines, but to highlight how it is important for families to have an anchor, regardless of how chaotic that family might be. Vance talks about his anchor, growing up in an extremely chaotic family. The podcaster talked about the cultural relevance of Vance’s anchor. Be that anchor for your family. 🙏💪🤠🇺🇸

I've been to the White House every time in my 71 years that I've been invited. I've been invited twice in the past year. And, if I get invited this year, or in 5 years, I will go again. Not because I put our elected officials on a pedestal. I just go to help.

I often find myself politically confused, and I make it my business to always stay in my lane: raising livestock with good animal welfare, regenerate the soil beneath their feet, and revitalizing my rural town of Bluffton, Georgia. And when that is on the President's agenda, I'm proud to share my experience.

In early June, I was invited to the White House for a meeting with President Trump and some of his cabinet members. I was told there was going to be an executive order signed in the Oval Office, and I was invited to tell the President how my farm had transitioned away from the commodity cattle industry into a small, vertically-integrated food hub. It was my first time being so close to where policy was made, and it was quite surprising. I wasn't there to smile and pose. I was there to plead the case for Regenerative Agriculture.

I felt that the four of us farmers who were invited to the White House on June 25th did a pretty good job pleading our case. The President signs only a few executive orders each year, and the one that day was centered around Regenerative Agriculture. I never thought the type of farming that I have been figuring out over the last 30+ years would ever be passionately discussed in the Oval Office. But a few Cabinet members and four farmers were given the opportunity to witness this, and I appreciated having a front row seat.

For our friends within this radius who require a large animal vet, I HIGHLY recommend Atherton Equine Services, LLC!

Weekday mornings I tend to service the rural parts of this area. Then every day I go home and have lunch with my best friend, my beautiful wife. Then in the afternoons people haul their animals to my place. Weekends are for family and certain emergencies for certain people.
If you know a farmer in this circle, they probably know me or have heard of me. I have been running these rural farm roads for over 15 years.
Any unscheduled, same day appointment will carry a $200 emergency fee. I stay booked up a week ahead so text early and text often. I do not have time for voicemails. If you can read this, you can text or have somebody text for you or not be my client.
$250 per hour at your place. $200 per hour at my place if you haul it in.
My drive time fee starts at $3/minute one way for rural areas and gets exponentially higher for urban areas.
Approximations…
Batesburg $150
Wagener $90
Edgefield $150
North Augusta $150
Windsor $45
Barnwell $100
Orangeburg $1500
Columbia $3,500
Allendale $200
Saluda $300
I do not service Georgia or beyond about an hour from my place. However Georgians are welcome to come see me in Montmorenci, South Carolina.

I work on western horses and regular horses (but not primadonnas), cattle, sheep and goats, poultry and other avians, farm dogs, camels, giraffes, antelope, zebra, white tail, reptiles, fish and bees.
I do not like to work on cats or pigs, and yes I have treated many cats and pigs; but I don’t like to and so I usually don’t.

My business is not slow but since a few of my favorite clients have passed away in the past year I thought I would open back up to new clients.
I’m not cheap but I’m worth it, also I’m probably your best option when it comes to farm animal veterinary medicine if you live in this circle.

Absolutely love seeing this!
