It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the
Twisted Confections Kitchen…

It started out with a 2 work event…and obviously I offer to provide the goodie’s…first was Chocolate Cherry Bomb cupcakes for our annual pinewood derby ( yes you heard me right ), and second a yearly meeting we have ( called pop-tarts and flannel ) so obviously I put my twisted spin on what I call an inside-out pop tart using tart shells….Then cones the big day…. Happy Easter Everyone hope you all had a wonderful day…but I will be honest these are the times that I never know what’s going to happen, because when your asked to just bring something simple…I don’t have a clue what that means….and then the magic happens…!!!!

P.S….and of course I have to show my cherry smoked Easter deviled eggs..!!!

Happy New Year everyone..It been a little bit of time since I was here…so here’s a bit of some doings over the last few months… and we’ve got a mix of everything…from cakes…mini Carmel toffee & mini cheesecake parfaits to smoked salsas…pasta and a very first ever try in homemade cheddar & pepper jack goldfish….The new year…brings new creations with the possibilities of new possibilities on the horizon…so stay tuned..!!!

This is what happens…when you take your twisted confections side and flip it upside down and go totally insane….I honestly can’t believe it actually worked…fruit….jello…and watermelon in a whole new way..!!!

When it’s Friends Game Night…and obviously everyone knows that you’re the desert guy…you tell everyone to be prepared…because who knows what is going to happen…!!!!

1…fresh Lemon curd…fresh blueberry compote with pound cake pieces and fresh honey whipped cream…topped with graham cracker crumble..

2…fresh strawberries shortcake cake pieces…layered with a French vanilla mousse…fresh honey whipped cream..and more shortcake cake pieces…and a cherry to top it off
