For years, the North Bend Downtown Foundation has worked to make our community a place we’re all proud to call home. From free family events, downtown beautification, marketing and promotion of our local businesses, community cleanups, public art, holiday celebrations, volunteer programs, and economic vitality efforts, everything we do is centered around supporting North Bend and the people who make it special.

This year, we planned our budget based on funding we believed would be available. Unfortunately, $125,000 in anticipated funding will not be coming through, creating a significant gap that puts many of these efforts at risk.

If you’ve attended one of our events, discovered a favorite local business, enjoyed our beautiful downtown, or simply believe in investing in this community, we’re asking for your help today.

Hello Friends, We wanted to provide an update. My mother has passed away peacefully and we appreciate all the love, support and understanding from our market family , friends and community. We are still on pause for the Farmers Markets while we allow ourselves time to grieve, heal and get all of her affairs in order.

We hope to be back on the schedule later in the season . Meanwhile , We are making progress with getting the SWIRL Snackshop hot food menu approved and permitted , which will have tamales on it !! (fingers crossed we are only a few more steps away ) .

Wishing everyone a super successful and fun market season , we miss you all .

WOW !! We are beyond honored to have WON Best Food truck for THE BEST OF 425 . We have put our heart and soul into every tamale we have hand rolled for the last 6 years . Haughty tamales will be on the new SWIRL Snackshop menu this summer . Farmers market season schedule will be out soon also . Stay tuned and can’t wait to steam it up !! ❤️🫔🧑🏼‍🌾

Hi Friends ,

With a Heavy heart Haughty Tamale Co. will not be able to be at season opener next Sat May 2nd . We will just be taking a short Hiatus from booking other events also .

Your favorite tamale lady mother’s health has taken a quick and serious decline . I’m right by her side in AZ and appreciate all the love and support that our family is receiving . We hope to be steaming it up again at the markets soon . Hold your loved ones close and find joy where you can .
