This is my 30th year of growing sweet sorghum here in Vermont. I planted this 1/2 acre plot a week ago and these seedlings will grow to about 15 feet tall by September when they will be ready to make syrup. John

Sugaring is going well, trees have thawed out and are running good. Have made some really nice syrup. John

Sugaring season is off to a slow start with the deep snow and frost in the roots . The trees will run well once the snow...

Sugaring season is off to a slow start with the deep snow and frost in the roots . The trees will run well once the snow melts back from the base of the tree. It looks like it's going to be a good year. John
