We're in the soil-making business. That's why we brought animals back to the farm with rotational grazing. That's why we planted 17 acres of new pasture/native prairie on old crop land. That's why we mulch and compost. In only 4 years, we're seeing a difference: birds, bugs, frogs, snakes are all returning, and though they are impossible to see, I'll just bet the soil microbes are increasing too.
