It’s Pop Darts and Pitchers. This is a unique break in the food truck schedule and a great time to remind you that you are ALWAYS welcome to bring your own food and snacks into the brewery. Heck, you can even get your food delivered at the drive-thru window.

On tap now- From the Heart Volume 6!

At Codex Brewing, you’ll find Jason interpreted and brewed the 2026 recipe into a 5.3%ABV Country Lager that is a perfect addition for summer time. This lager was dip hopped and then double dry hopped with Rahrbsg ’s Grove Blend, giving notes of stone fruit and delicate orange.

The From the Heart brew is an annual statewide collaboration to benefit the Ohio Craft Brewers Association Ohio Craft . Each year the brew returns as a completely new concept. Newly selected ingredients and recipes are sent to participating breweries where each brewery presents their own take of the brew.

Trivia Tuesdays with Joel gets the month rolling on Tuesday the 2nd and again on the 16th. There are two rounds each night, and the second round is THEMED.

Part one of a new summer series, A Journey Through Middle Earth, begins on Saturday June 13th, with a day all about The Fellowship of the Ring. Coming in garb is optional, but an interest, opinion or curiosity about all things Tolkien is highly recommended. Expect 2 more parts to the series.

Sip & Stitch celebrates its 3 Year Anniversary! There is no food truck this month, plan accordingly if you want a meal with your craft.

Train Your Brain: Beer Sensory Training

Jason (our co-owner and brewer) is offering you the chance train your palette in this new educational series. Join for a single session or bundle the full series of five sessions and save.

You can expect each session to introduce you to 5 unique compounds that impact the aromatics and/or flavor of beer.

Kick Off the Summer with Codex Brewing!

SUMMER TIME- however old you are it’s the season we all get to take a breath of fresh air and refocus on doing things that make you happy. Trying new things, meeting with friends, rekindling hobbies, starting a new book, sipping craft beers…
To help you feel in the swing for summer, we’re offering a whole week of events at the brewery:

05.23 Saturday Trivia with Joel.
- the first round starts at 2:30pm. Your trivia host has titled the second round “What’s Up Nerds?”, themed to the tune of some of your favorite nerdy content like anime, super heroes, collectibles and video games

05.24 Sun Catcher Class
- Spend the afternoon with your instructor Drift and Bloom as you are guided through making a patriotic themed sun catcher. Make sure you register in advance

05.25 Memorial Day the brewery is closed.

05.26 Day of Reading
- we are encouraging you to bring your current read to the brewery and get comfortable. Looking for a new book? Grab a book from our free little library

05.27 Crafting Day
- bring your creativity to the brewery. You can also expect some coloring pages, a collage station, and with the weather permitting, there will be a tie dye station outside in the grass. You can also bring your own craft of choice

05.28 Pitchers and Pop Darts
- come try the wonderful game of POP DARTS. We’ll have a few spaces to play set aside. You’ll want to bring friends because we will be offering select beers in a pitcher to share.

05.29 Build Your Own Friday Night Flight
- On Friday Nights we offer you a predetermined flight for a special price, but tonight YOU have the power to Build Your Own Flight, for that same special price.

05.30 Take a Hike
- It’s more than a suggestion, it’s a call to action! We’re asking you to spend a little time enjoying the outdoors, then come enjoy some cold craft beers. Another option is to visit our booth at Ales for Trails brought to you by the Wilderness Center. Tickets available now and at the event!

Are you familiar with our monthly recurring events at Codex Brewing?


Beers and Books is the brewery’s own Book Club. We meet monthly to discuss a new read. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. In June it will be ”The Lost Bookshop,” by Evie Woods. If a book a month sounds like too much on your schedule, we invite you to read ahead. In July, we will meet to discuss, “Automatic Noodle,” by Analee Newitz.

June is the 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of our monthly Sip & Stitch! Bring your craft of choice. Meet your friends or make some new ones. Spend an afternoon crafting and sipping in a laidback and friendly space.

You are welcomed to bring snacks, food or nonalcoholic drinks to the brewery with you.

Each Friday Night of May, Codex Brewing is giving you your flowers 🌺
That’s right, April Showers have made way for May Flowers!

The current Friday Night Flight:

Berry Sangria (Hard Seltzer) this beloved seltzer is one of two brews on the flight that are provided their flavor and aroma from Ohio Tea Company.

Hymn to Hathor (Saison) is a beautiful ruby colored pour was a brew we collaborated on for International Women’s Day. You can expect flavors of coriander, hibiscus, and a subtle note of fresh ginger.

Butterfly Bellini (Hard Seltzer) this beautiful and refreshing seltzer is brewed with another tea blend, but this time from M&H Beans Coffee Roastery.

Lavender Earl Grey (Saison) is a seasonal favorite! This beer captures the flavor of another Ohio Tea Company brew. The delicate flavors of bergamot and lavender are able to shin through a few base of effervescent saison.

Come to the bar and ask for the Friday Night Flight, you will be served this specially curated flight at a special price. See you soon!
