Anyone else still feeling thrown off by the Monday holiday? Yes, it is in fact actually Thursday already. But don't panic we've got you covered. Look for a bright green food truck in the drive thru, because Thai It Up Food Truck is coming back to Codex Brewing!

Come out and enjoy this beautiful fall weather for dinner and a pint on the patio. Or order ahead online and grab some cans to-go.

Either way feel like the superhero you are because while not all superheros wear capes, the good ones know not to sleep on the chance for one more tasty night of Thai food when it's Butternut season at Codex.

October is here and at Codex that means the taps are filled with lots of Fall b**rs and some lovely fall nights to enjoy the patio. It also means we are getting closer to the end of food truck season so be sure to join us for Food Truck Thursdays to see all your favorites. We're kicking off the month with Forro’s Pizza and both Jason's behind the bar tonight.

As we start the month we're also saying goodbye to one of our long time faces behind the bar. Jessica was the first person we hired and has been a huge part of our taproom ever since. While sad to see her go we are excited for the opportunities Jessica will have in her new role with the Inventors Hall of Fame. Join us this Sunday, October 4th (cake at 4pm) to wish Jessica congratulations on her new role and share our appreciation for six years with us.

Over the last week we have seen THREE new additions to the taps:

42 (Blonde Ale) the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Bright golden color, 42 is a crisp and refreshing ale with delicate malt sweetness.

At the End of the Universe (Coffee Blonde Ale) our blonde ale infused with locally roasted Guatemalan coffee from M&H Beans. We know the return of this b**r has been long awaited since its last appearance, we are so excited to tell you “it’s back!”

Before the Ink was Dry (Fresh Hop IPA) barley, oats and a touch of caramel malt provide the canvas for freshly harvested or “wet” Triumph hops from Auburn Acres. Expect a lead of yuzu and lemon grass with a subtle peppery finish.�If you have been paying attention, the hops for this b**r were hand picked by the Codex team!

Where are you picking up this year’s pint glass? Codex is participating again in Ohio Pint Day by Ohio Craft B**r ! Stop by next week on September 29th to get your glass- available while supplies last.

Ohio Pint Day comes around once a year as a fundraising effort to benefit the Ohio Craft Brewers Association and their mission to promote, preserve, diversify and unify craft breweries across Ohio.

Art for this year’s glass was designed by Ali Drozdowicz.
