As our postman Bernie pulled in the yard today yelling "Cinco de Maple, Cinco De Maple!" out of his mail truck, we were reminded how good these maple margaritas are. π πΉ Give the recipe below a try!
Maple Margarita
2 ounces tequila
1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec
1 ounce Baird Farm amber maple syrup
1 ounce fresh lime juice
A slice of lime for garnish
Kosher salt and Baird Farm maple sugar (optional, for ri***ng the glass)
Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice. Add the tequila, Cointreau, maple syrup, and lime juice. Shake for 30 seconds.
To make the sweet and salty rim, add some salt and maple sugar to a small plate and mix together. Rub a lime wedge around the outside edge of your glass to moisten. Then carefully roll the outside rim in the salt and sugar.
To serve, strain the margarita into a glass and garnish with a slice of lime.
