Question for all my local food trucks, trailers, and tent vendors…
Would anyone be interested in starting a local vendor group where we can openly discuss past and upcoming events, share experiences, and help each other avoid wasting time and money?
Things like:
• Which neighborhoods, apartments, festivals, and events have been worth it
• Which ones weren’t
• Event coordinator experiences
• Vendor fees vs. actual turnout
• Setup logistics and expectations
• Tips, tricks, and things to watch out for
I truly believe we need to work together more as vendors. Lately it seems like vendor fees keep increasing, events are oversold with multiple vendors offering the same products, and attendance numbers don’t always match what was promised.
This wouldn’t be about bashing anyone—just vendors helping vendors make informed decisions and supporting one another.
At the end of the day, every event costs us money. Vendor fees, food costs, labor, fuel, inventory, permits, insurance, and our time all come out of our pockets. When an event is misrepresented, oversaturated, or poorly organized, we’re the ones who take the loss—not the customers, not the neighborhoods, and often not the coordinators. It affects us and our families directly.
If you’d be interested, comment below or send me a message. Let’s build something that helps all of us succeed. 💪🚚🍔🍦
