Boy, do they grow up fast.
At 12 years old, Drayden was starting his very first job—helping build our company alongside Mom. Where he has learned so many skills in running a kitchen, the behind the scenes of a business, management skills and customer service experience managing our booths at large events. Now at 16, he’s taking the next step and beginning a new job with an employer who isn’t his mother.
This journey has been incredible to watch. I know he’s prepared, capable, and ready for this opportunity, but that doesn’t make it any less emotional. As parents, we spend years teaching, guiding, and preparing them for independence. Then one day, the moment arrives when you have to let them go and grow outside of your reach.
No matter the challenges or the twists and turns of teen-hood I am so proud of the young man he’s becoming, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes him.
Drayden I will always be your biggest fan! Never forget: If you can dream it.. You can achieve it! 💪 💥
