Farm fresh chicken 🐔🍗

There is something exhilarating about knowing you had a hand in raising the dinner on the table tonight. I couldn't help but smile as I prepared dinner tonight.

I absolutely love life on our little Phunny Pharm.

🥚🐣 Incubating eggs and watching life begin before my own eyes 👀 🐥 "are you my momma?"

🥚🥚 Going to let the ladies and gentlemen out in the morning and collecting eggs in the afternoon. "How many are paying for their keep today 🤔"

A garden is tilled in and the seeds have sprouted! Can't wait to see what we get from raising our own veggies and fruits! Looking forward to canning in the fall. 🍉🎃🍈

That....all of that makes me smile. But what really warms my heart is the people I get to experience this life with. The teenagers 🏃‍♀️🙇 and wild child 🙆‍♀️ Kara Jane, my handsome bearded fella. 🧔‍♂️ We all make a great team and mesh really well together. 👨‍👦👩‍👧‍👧

It doesn't get better than this!!

Happy Easter from the Phunny Pharm! That’s our turkey being smoked with maple wood. After being brined in a pineapple brine, stuffed with red onion, garlic, oranges, rosemary, thyme and later to be glazed with a pineapple glaze. Are you feeling LUCKY? We are trying to promote our page and our little backyard chicken farm. Right now our market is family and close friends. But we WANT to expand and branch out a bit.

As most know we have about 45-50 meat birds on pasture and we are looking to possibly do turkeys next year (first we gotta eat and raise our own😉).

We also have laying hens🐔....who doesn't like farm fresh eggs. 🥚🥚🥚

Sometimes with the abundance of eggs we get I like to hard boil after a few weeks....next on the list is pickled eggs. 🤤🤤
