Sometimes farming means adapting to things beyond our control.

Today’s farmers market was canceled because of the wildfire smoke, which is a tough hit for our small farm. We harvested all week expecting to see everyone this afternoon, but nature had other plans.

Rather than let all that fresh produce go to waste, we donated the majority of it to Food Bank of Northern Indiana so it can help feed families in our community.

The good news is our farm stand is still stocked with fresh produce if you’d like to support the farm this weekend. We’d love to see you there!

We’re disappointed we couldn’t make it to market, but we’re grateful the harvest will still end up on someone’s table. Thank you to everyone who continues to support local farms—it truly makes a difference. Stay safe out there, and we hope to see you at the farm stand soon. ❤️🌱
