Crop update,
Red and yellow cherry tomatoes are plentiful. Slicing tomatoes are in good supply, green beans are good and are located behind the new raspberry field.
Just a few zucchini and watermelon are available. I didn’t see many cucumbers. The eggplant are in ok supply. Limited amount of green bell peppers. Hot peppers are plentiful. I reduced their price from 25 cents down to 20 cents.
Lots of sunflowers, a new row started blooming right next to the stand.

Crop update,
Last week for blueberries, Bonus in rows 11 and 12 and a few are in Bluecrop rows 5 and 6.
A new row of green beans is ready for picking. They are hiding behind the new planting of red raspberries. Still good beans next to the broccolini.
Cherry tomatoes are plentiful and a few red and yellow slicing tomatoes have ripened. I somehow got some unknown red cherry tomatoes throughout the patch that are really crunchy and they only taste so so. I have signs next to them. Please taste the cherry tomatoes to ensure they are good ones.
Very limited amount of green bell peppers. It will be weeks before I have more. Plenty of Hot Hungarian wax. In two weeks I will have bulk pricing for the hot peppers.
Some zucchini and cucumbers are available. Eggplant are plentiful.
Watermelon is still a week away.
Sunflowers are plentiful so I’m now giving everyone one fancy sunflower free to everyone that visits the farm and they are now the same price as the common ones.

Important,
There is a change to days open this week. The farm will be closed Monday Tuesday AND WEDNESDAY this week to allow crops to ripen. We will be open Thursday through Sunday.

Everything except the eggplant and sunflowers need a couple days for more to ripen.
We are in the final stretch of blueberry picking, they really need three or more days for the final two varieties of berries to ripen.

Crop update for Wednesday’s opening.
Blueberries are still good in the Bluecrop, Nelson and Toro varieties. The Bonus is tart.
Just a few quarts of red raspberries left to pick. Black raspberries are done for the summer.
Green beans are in good supply in the rows on each side of the red raspberries. Since they are double rows you find the most beans by lifting up and looking under the plants on the edge of the row.
Red and yellow cherry tomatoes are available along with some early girls.
Price reduction on the fancy sunflowers , now just 50 cents each. Bell peppers are a little on the small size. Hot peppers look ok. Not many Zucchini but I think cucumbers are in ok supply.

Weekend crop update,
Blueberries are in good supply.
Red raspberries are still available for picking, it appears the smoke protected them from the sun.
Black raspberries are done for the summer.
Zucchini, cucumbers, eggplant, beans, peppers, sunflowers and a few cherry tomatoes are available.

Farm hours and crop update,
The farm will open at 7 am on Wednesday due to the heat.
Blueberries are looking good and the Nelson Variety is really nice right now.
The quality of the remaining red and black raspberries look good but the heat will probably ruin the red by Friday. To pick the black raspberries look low and inside the bushes to find the last of them and wear a long sleeve shirt.
Green beans are in the second half of the row to the left of the red raspberries. A few green bell and hot Hungarian wax peppers are available. Eggplant, zucchini and cucumbers are available.
Sunflowers are plentiful.
