We had another butchering appointment come available. Need it spoken for by Friday 1-21. Willing to split this one in quarters and halves.

Never purchased beef this way? No problem. We're willing to walk you through the process and make it as seamless as possible.

Quarter beef too much for you? No problem. We also have beef bundles available(50 lbs. of ground beef, roasts, and steaks) which equate to roughtly 1/8 of a beef. These can be delivered directly to your door depending on distance from North Manchester, IN.

We recently had a couple butcher appointments open up so we had to seize the opportunity. This has left us with a full beef that needs a home. Will sell in quarters or halves but would prefer to sell as full beef.

Hay making in northeast Indiana always has its challenges. This year has been especially challenging. This week we are fighting armyworms. They have moved in the past few days and if not controlled they will take the whole crop in a matter of days. Look closely in picture 3 and see how many you can count.

The box includes a total of 50 pounds of naturally raised beef. 🥩

▪️25 pounds of lean ground beef.
▪️25 pounds of steaks and roasts.

This meat is USDA inspected and processed at a local processor.

After a few cold snowy days the sun is out and our new hay seeding is loving every bit of it. ☀️

We take a lot of pride in the quality of our hay and new field establishment is the first step in that.

There is a lot of prep work that goes into getting a field to produce high quality hay our customer expects from us year after year.

This field has been:
✅ Soil sampled
✅ Fertilized
✅ Limed
✅ Disced and packed
✅ Seeded

The rows you see are the oats we use as a nurse crop to keep the w**d pressure down while the alfalfa and orchardgrass get established.

The oats are baled early summer and then fed to our cattle.

A new field will typically not produce a horse quality hay crop for us until the following year of establishment.
