Our goal is to sell a pig that we can back up and be there to help if needed. Not only do we want to see our pigs suceed but also to see the 4-h member to. In the past few years we have raised the Reserve Grand Barrow at Wabash County (Duroc) in 201
0. In 2011 we raised the Champion Duroc Gilt at Wabash, the Reserve Duroc Gilt at the Indiana State Fair, and Champion Duroc Gilt in the State Fair open show. We also raised the 3rd place Duroc Gilt in points on the Indiana Show Circuit. The sow that has started the herd was Sr. Devision Champion at the Indiana State Fair in 2009.

These babies are already stout and have a cool look to them. We are excited to see what the second litter out of this young sow does this summer.
We are a little behind on posting, we will be highlighting some key litters over the next few weeks. Starting off with a gilt I’m excited for pigs to hit the ground out of. Out of our foundation sow which makes her a half sib to amplify and boom box. We decided to line the pedigree up with as consistent as this bloodline is it should be a home run!
Counting down the weeks until the farrowing house starts filling up stay tuned for bred pictures and pedigrees coming in the following weeks.
