This sow likes to keep us on our toes! We finally got her caught for a March litter and if we didn’t know these pigs would be killer I’d be pretty disappointed in such a late litter.

🚨BID BOARD BARROW🚨
Let us start by saying we don’t normally do this. But after some pushback this summer that “first come, first serve” wasn’t fair to all this is where we have landed.
Since posting a sneak peek of the 9-3 barrow, we have gotten a lot of interest in this guy. The bid board should give anyone interested an equal chance to drive this calico all summer. Details are on the last photo. Video in comments.
Other pigs are available individually priced out of the barn starting next weekend! Get signed up for a time slot if you’d like to view them!
We are looking forward to Shaffer's Goldrush customer appreciation sale! We will be taking this Marksman x Deep End boar (we couldn’t bring ourselves to cut him) and durocs (picturing soon)!

We are pumped for this show season. Reach out to set up a time to kick through the awesome set we have this year! Most pigs will be priced for sale out of the barn, we plan to take 4 to Shaffer’s Customer Appreciation Sale, and one (pictured bottom right) we plan to hold a bid board on to give everyone that was interested in him at weaning a fair shot!

Things don’t always go as planned in the agriculture world, a gilt that got more than her share of feed resulted in larger than expected pigs and led to our first ever c-section. Thankful we have a great vet (Yarde Veterinary Services) and now momma is home nursing a healthy litter!
I try to avoid discussing how good a pig is until they are weaned, but guess who hit the chips today❗️
This guy has a stout skull that carries all the way to a big tail root. Pairing his eye catching color with this width, it could be a deadly combo❗️

We knew we wanted to keep some gilts to breed to Kobe at the end of this year so we had to buy semen for one of our Poland sows. Last year Beaman Show Stock served us well and every single one of Snicker’s Call Me Daddy litter that was shown were champion, reserve, or first in class at least once! So we knew we had to match her up with another one of their boars.
I can’t wait to see what Snickers’ litter can pull off this season!

We were impressed by Buck Em at Belton last year and when we saw he was coming to IN to be housed at Beaman’s, we decide to add a Berk female to our state fair shopping list. We were drawn to Skittles in class due to her maternal look and future sow potential. Finding out she was raised by Robin Ridge was just a bonus!
