This starts today! If you have any gowns, gloves or masks, please bring them to the Mankato Civic Center at your earliest convenience. They will be sanitized and repackaged and sent to people on the front lines!

You can deposit them in dropboxes labeled D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) outside of the Event Center lobby doors.

I personally will be donating a respirator mask that I have been using for dirty jobs around the house, as well as 4 disposable hospital masks that my parents sent to me. Please check your garages and first aid kits, halloween costumes, and anywhere else.

It's honestly hard for me to part with these items. Part of me thinks I might need them. Even though I am self-quarantined, I imagine that I might have to protect myself. I might. But I realize that those working with sick people need them much more. I could save many lives even by donating what little I have.
