🥖 Don’t toss that stale sourdough! 🥖
One of the coolest things about sourdough is that it can be brought back to life long after bake day. 🙌
In this video I’m showing my favorite “sourdough resurrection” trick — when your loaf starts getting a little too firm, slice it up, give it a quick rinse under water (yes… WATER 😳), and then toast it.
And before you think that sounds crazy… remember: sourdough is made with just four simple ingredients — flour, starter, salt, and water. 💧 We’re simply reincorporating one of those ingredients back into the bread to restore some of that moisture.
The result? Soft, warm, fresh-tasting sourdough that feels like it just came out of the oven. ✨
So before you think your loaf has gone too far… give it a little hydration and a second chance. Your sourdough deserves it. ❤️
