Our customers Becky and Matt brought us some Mason Bee tubes today! When the Mason Bees emerge from the tubes they will be visiting the apple blossoms pollinating the flowers so we get a good crop of apples. We need the help of Mason Bees, wild bees, or honey bees to pollinate our crops. We hold these little workers in high esteem!!

Just finished winter pruning of our apple orchard! Our trees are espalier in a hedgerow configuration rather than a freestanding tree which is most common.
If you have not done your winter pruning now is the time to do it before the tree leaves out making it harder to see the structure of the tree.
