A little life update from the farm… ❤️
Things have been moving a little slower around here lately.
A few days ago, Dustin injured his ankle/Achilles while working. After one trip to the ER and still no real answers, he’s been pretty limited on what he can do while we wait to see a specialist. If you’ve ever been part of a farm family, you know there isn’t much that stops needing done just because someone gets hurt. The animals still need fed, cows still need milked, and the everyday chores keep coming.
Right now we’re taking things one day at a time and figuring it out as we go. I’m picking up some of the things he can’t do, which means there have been a few extra hours, a few extra trips, and a few extra items added to my plate lately.
He has an appointment with a specialist on Thursday, and we’re hopeful we’ll finally get some answers and a better idea of exactly what’s going on. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for good news and a clear path forward.
We also wanted to take a moment to say thank you. This past weekend was incredibly busy, and we were blessed to see so many new faces at the stand. Whether you stopped by for milk, eggs, baked goods, skincare products, or just came out to see what we’re all about, we’re truly grateful you chose to support our little farm.
We hope you enjoyed everything you took home, and we hope you’ll come back and visit us again. It never gets old seeing new people discover the stand, and we’re so thankful for every person who pulls into our driveway. Truth be told, every time I see a vehicle pull in, I still do a little happy dance. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been coming since day one or if it’s your very first visit, we’re excited and grateful every single time.
We’ll continue doing our best to keep the stand stocked, answer messages, and keep everything running as smoothly as possible. We just ask for a little patience and grace while we navigate this season.
Thank you for supporting our family, our farm, and this dream of ours. It means more than you know.
Here’s hoping Dustin is back on both feet soon. ❤️
