Hi Everyone - Our 2024 harvest was a bust🥹. We hit some cooler temps with rainy conditions which turned the tables with harvesting honey. Those sweet honey bees ended up eating their honey to hunker down and survive. Can’t blame them, but it was a bummer for us come harvest. We did add another hive this year and we’re hoping and praying for a great harvest in 2025.

We hope you all have a joyous Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Did you know that the Arctic bumblebee plays a crucial role as a primary pollinator in Arctic ecosystems? Despite their importance, much remains unknown about bees and other pollinators in the Arctic. Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna advocates for monitoring Arctic bumblebees and other pollinators through the Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program to better understand these tiny Arctic heroes.
The World Bee Day is to raise awareness of the importance of bees and the threats they are facing.

The mastermind of all this is my super awesome husband, Todd Vincent. He is adding another hive for the 2024 season. We sold out so fast last year! The feedback on the creamed honey was a hit (thanks again to Amy for the idea). You can bet we will have it available and have more to offer than last year! I fell in love with it with the rest of you all. Just so you know, ALL proceeds are put right back into the community, supporting those with food insecurity, winter clothing, and special missions abroad. You are paying it forward with 💯love when you purchase our honey. All operating expenses are out of pocket, and my husband cannot tell you how much happiness it brings that he can do that. Starting to gather recipes for this fall and this sounds delicious! I will probably try arrowroot instead of corn starch 🤗

It’s happening! We had to consolidate to two hives as the third wasn’t strong. The hive on the left is the “super hive” and overachievers! It’s incredible too! The hive on the right has produced a light amber color honey, and our super hive is a darker amber. I can guarantee both are delicious! Vince will do one more harvest in a few weeks; then, we will be ready to share it with you all. I can’t wait!
