As Miles Breeding Service, Myron Miles has been artificially inseminating cows, preg-testing, selling ABS semen, and other services for decades. Many local ranchers rely on Myron to fill and maintain their nitrogen tanks. He runs several routes around Baker and Union Counties to deliver liquid nitrogen monthly. Dotty Miles has a pet project! She has installed and continues to stock and maintain 2 little free libraries. Her first library was installed at 5 corners at the 90-degree bend of North Powder River Road before it runs into the Anthony Lakes Highway. Her second library is at Telocaset. It's a labor of love for a life-long reader!

It's almost calving time, so the crew trailed the cows home from the upper ground through downtown North Powder. This has been the wettest December on record, but there is absolutely no snow pack. Weird.
