❤️ I have some pretty big news to share...
After a lot of thought, planning, and more than a few conversations about what I wanted the next chapter of my life to look like, I made a pretty big decision.
Friday was my last day at my full-time job. 😳
Since starting Val's Cookie Corner in 2023, I've built this business in the hours around a full-time career — evenings, weekends, early mornings, vacation days, and just about every spare minute I could find.
I'm now stepping into a part-time role with an incredible nonprofit — a change that will allow me to dedicate so much more of my time to Val's Cookie Corner.
And I wouldn't be here without all of you.
This isn't an ending — it's the next step in a dream that you've helped build. Every order, every class, every recommendation, every kind comment... they've all helped make this possible.
And yes... this means MORE Val's Cookie Corner! 🎉
More availability for custom orders. More classes. More events. More opportunities to grow my corporate cookie business. And finally, more time to bring some of the ideas I've been dreaming about to life.
To everyone who has ordered cookies, taken a class, stopped by my table at a market, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, left a review, or simply cheered me on along the way — thank you. ❤️
It's exciting, a little scary, and still a little surreal to think about what comes next. But I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to find out.
I have so many ideas for what's ahead, and I can't wait to bring you along for this next chapter.
