Up next in our series…meet Dozer!
Dozer is the daughter of Febe(aka Queen). Fun fact about her name: her name was chosen because the very first time we had to load her into the trailer to move pastures, she ran over Jason😂 luckily everyone was ok and she has calmed down tremendously! She’s now a sweetheart and doesn’t run over anyone 🤣

And just like that, market season 2026 has come to an end! Thank you to everyone who came and visited us at all the markets this summer and fall!
Time to unload the freezers, unplug them, let them defrost and wipe them down. (Don’t worry we have more freezers here at the farm holding all of our beef😉)
But don’t worry!! We have stock all year long and are available for all of your beef needs!
Again, thank you to everyone for all of your support! Thanks to all of you we can continue to provide nutritious, home grown beef from our farm to your table! ❤️

Our next cow to introduce is Faith!
Fun fact: she had a set of twin boys last year! We’re waiting on her to have her calf (maybe just one this year??) for this year so we will see what she has! Hoping she will calve soon 🤞🏻

Up next is Thief!
Thief was born and raised on our farm. She has produced some of our fastest growing calves!
Fun fact:she’s called Thief because as a baby she would always sneak milk off of the other mama cows!

This weekend we ground creep feed for our young calves that are on pasture with their moms. This helps to relieve pressure off of the mommas and to prepare them for their transition to the feed lot. They will be on this feed for several months before they are weaned. This also makes the weaning process easier on them since they will be on grain. They get a mixture of corn, molasses and oats. The molasses makes it sweet for them and is like candy to us.

Up next…Scarlett, Sienna, and Ginger! ❤️
All of these girls also came with the group of heifers that Cherry came to the farm with (can’t you tell😉). These ladies are very friendly and have a lot of personality! Sienna is very sassy, Scarlett is very curious, and Ginger is very laid back. They are all sweet girls and a great addition to our herd!

Sorry I fell behind on making these posts! Life gets busy sometimes. To make up for it, I did a 3 for 1 with this post!

This momma threw us all for a loop last night. We knew she had a calf when we
Checked on her earlier in the week and thought all was good. We went back last night and there was an extra head at check in time. This momma had twins! They look exactly alike and look like the other two we posted earlier in the week. Crazy how they can hide one away and you not know. Twins aren’t super common so we weren’t looking for number 2. But all that matters is they are both super healthy. We will be watching them closely to make sure
She has enough to keep them going.
