Living Lao’d Why Lao'd Eating? Lao means Laotian people from Laos. The word put together with " 'd" means Loud. I love to cook and eat.

I don't know how to cook for one, so what better way then to share with friends and the people I love. All homemade from scratch and sold from my Lao porch side kitchen.

Persimmon time. When your local Rancho Market gives you 2 lbs./$1.00 you know it’s time to stock up on my favorite fruit of the season. Why not buy 160 lbs. and dehydrate them.

Well, everyone was camping. I opted for the lodge on the lake. It was much warmer and the bed was comfy and shower of course. I had too much crayfish equipment to Hall instead of bringing camping gear.

Crayfishing time…spending time camping with friends and catching crayfish. I played out 13 traps with raw chicken overnight and got half a cooler.

This year someone from the US introduced crayfish in several rice fields in Laos. I’m so excited to see this happen. Now my family will be able to taste these little critters from afar.
