This is likely the final few days of corn for the 2026 season but we were out picking this morning and should be able to continue for much of the week.

Tomatoes are continuing to ripen and are looking good too.

We are even out harvesting the final few outdoor picking cucumbers of the season as we transition to cucumbers grown in the greenhouse for the next several weeks.

AND we stopped by the upper orchard where Robert and Avery are busy picking Empire and even the first Evercrisp apples of the season!

Of course, the store is also well stocked with our usual fall lineup of pumpkins, winter squash, and apples.

Open until 5 o'clock today for the Columbus Day holiday!

It's Friday and it's after 5 o'clock so that means it's the weekend!

We know that Columbus Day weekend brings a number of opportunities to get out and about and we hope that you can carve out some time to include a visit to the farm in your plans...

🚜 Complementary hayrides both Saturday and Sunday at 11 and 1 o'clock (note the times have been updated since last weekend). No rides on Monday due to the threat of wet weather

We hope that you have been enjoying this season's mums but if you haven't this weekend looks to bring perfect weather for fall decorating. We still have plenty of mums ranging from those with full, colorful blooms for an immediate splash to some varieties that are just beginning to open and will extend the color around your home well into the fall. Get yours soon as these will continue to sell quickly over the next several days.

The store is full and we are ready for you today with some beautiful produce, mums, pumpkins, hayrides, and fall photo opportunities!

Yes we still have some sweet corn, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, and tomatoes!

Hayrides today will run at 10, 11, and 1 o'clock. There will be no 2 o'clock ride today as we will unpack the wagon due to rain chances early this evening through overnight. Before that time, though, we are ready to ride!

Just a reminder that we are closed and out the door by 5 o'clock on Sundays for a bit of relaxation and family time. We hope to see you until then for the conclusion of a beautiful fall weekend!

The first weekend of October is already just about here and that means that start of our FREE fall hayride season.

This is an approximately half hour ride on an actual haywagon complete with straw bedding. Rides this weekend will run at 10, 11, 1 and 2 o'clock. Assuming good weather, rides will also run during the remaining October weekends as well. Parking is available across from the farm at Keene-Brown Funeral Home.

Our goal for these rides is to bring families out to the farm to enjoy all that fall has to offer without breaking the bank. We are appreciative of the support of our town and surrounding communities and look forward to seeing you sometime during the next month!

The corn is piled high and we are ready for you on this rainy weekend. We will close at 5 o'clock today but otherwise we are operating as usual.

The weather this morning is fairly docile; come on out and see us!

Could you feel fall in the air today? The crisp wind, deep blue skies and puffy clouds, and a smattering of red and yellow leaves on maple and birch trees give our senses a reminder that summer is on its last legs.

Despite today's brisk feel, let's not completely close the books on Summer 2026 just yet. Remarkably, we are still busy harvesting some beautiful summer vegetables. Our own cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, and corn are still plentiful, we just started harvesting a new field of tomatoes, and our greenhouse is serving up some wonderful zucchini squash.

Of course we are also packing the store with your fall favorites as well, including 10 different varieties of apples, gorgeous winter squash and potatoes, and a large selection of mums, many of which have just started to bloom and will remain vibrant throught the season.

Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful New England fall day, perfect for getting outside and enjoying the weather before a chilly and rainy stretch takes over. For those attending the North Smithfield Pumpkin Festival note that the location of the festival is no more than a few minutes walk to our farm (you can GPS to 458 Greenville Road to arrive either on foot or by vehicle to our store). We are well stocked with our own apples and vegetables, fresh apple c***r pressed yesterday afternoon, a variety of baked goods and c***r donuts, and an array of fall decor including our own mums which are just beginning to show off their vibrant blooms.

We hope to personally see you tomorrow or at some point this fall season but regardless of what you do or where you go, remember that there are a number of great farms across northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts who each offer a unique variety of items and experiences at this time of year; it's really hard to go wrong! Your support of local agriculture at this time of year helps to add additional income for the rapidly approaching offseason and beyond!

As summer vegetables are slowly winding down we can begin to more fully concentrate on harvesting apples which are now rolling into the store from our orchards by the bin full. We are currently picking the following varieties:

Honeycrisp
McIntosh
Gala
Jonagold
Dandee Red
Cortland

Note that while we are not open to the public for apple picking we do offer apple picking and hayrides for private bookings such as schools, mom groups, homeschooling groups, etc. If interested please drop us a note to inquire about availability!
