Okay yes we know that we may have a reputation for being a junk food vegan store BUT we have healthy stuff, too! We have vegan vitamins from the classic brand Deva, as well as SO many options for snack bars...low- or no-sugar-added bars, raw fruit & nut bars, protein-packed bars, dipped bars, wafers, oat bars, nut butter balls, and chia squeezes...with plenty of gluten free ones!

And the flavors?! Chocolate options, mocha, peanut butter options, fruit flavors like orange, blueberry, cranberry, & cherries and other nuts like pistachio, hazelnut, almond...basically, if you have a very specific snack-bar craving, there’s a pretty good chance we have something for it!

So we really do have options for the “I want a healthy snack” crowd, too! Come check them all out here at The Vegan Grocery Store!

Both of us, The Vegan Grocery Store & Little Black Heart Coffee, on Oliver Street will be open during normal hours on Saturday, August 1st. Our block though will be closed off for the Oliver Street Art Festival but these side streets all have parking and are still a less-than 5 minute walk!

The 11th Annual Oliver Street Art Festival, organized by Project 308 Gallery, is from 11:00AM to 5:00PM! Come enjoy the art festival AND have great vegan options while you browse!!

Okay friends, we are asking for your help!

We try our hardest to always have 20 different flavors in our Ice Cream Pints options! The problem is, that we've recently had a couple of flavors get discontinued and we are having a hard time finding options to replace them! (The ones circled in orange are duplicates that we'd like to replace with new ones!)

In case it's hard to read, this is what we have:

Drop in the comments your favorite flavors that we are missing and we will see if we can source them! Sorry to say that Pistachio was the most recent one to get discontinued and we haven't been able to find a replacement for it yet so any other suggestions would be great!

Vegan seafood alternatives...they do exist! Of course we have the classic Gardein Fishless Filets and BeLeaf Shrimp, but we have been working hard here at TVGS to source some different things so we recently brought in the Oshi Salmon Fillet, Beanstalk Fish Fingers & Seafood Rings, and a couple of Kimbap options!
