My name is Amanda Creech, and I'm your new favorite home baker, right here in Jennings County! I am a 28 year old mother, wife, and business owner. Desserts by Amanda, LLC began back in 2023 when I lost my job of 6 years to a lay off and I needed something to help supplement my income. I had the vision of being able to one day stay home with my boys and be able to make money from my home while sti
ll getting too be here with them. For a few years, I worked 3rd shift at McDonald's while I was still baking from time to time, getting my bachelor's degree, and then in 2024, having my littlest baby boy,and then this summer happened.. I started putting myself out there, making new things, trying new recipes, and perfecting the items that I would be selling to my community. As I started to book more events and set up in the community, things started to ramp up, and It was so amazing to see the love and support for my creations! Since the summer this year, we have been able to get to the point where I quit my jobs at McDoanlds, stay home full time with my boys, and made a true business and income out of something that used to be a fun side gig on the weekends from time to time. None of this would have been possible without the love and support of my family, friends, kids, and community. My husband, boys, and mom are my buggest supporters and I wouldnt be anywhere today wihtout them backing me.
