Lilly Endowment Scholarship finalist spotlight!

Izabella Miller is a Jennings County High School senior with a GPA of 3.9. She is currently ranked #3 in her class, is a member of the National Honor Society, and has taken many AP/dual credit honors classes.

Her extracurriculars include cross-country, track and field, and archery.

This summer, she served as an assistant coach for a park league softball team.

“This was an amazing opportunity for me to help and volunteer my time to my community, helping young girls grow and learn confidence in movement.”

She also enjoys running, reading, and crocheting.

Miller’s future plans include studying elementary education.

Lilly Endowment Scholarship finalist spotlight!

Alex Watts is a Jennings County High School Senior with a GPA of 3.6. He is a member of the National Honor Society and has completed AP/dual credit classes, as well as other advanced coursework.

His extracurriculars include Black Cat Racing (the electric vehicle building, engineering, and racing team at JCHS) where he is a driver in the evGrandPrix.

“Through the team, I have gained hands-on experience with electric vehicles, engineering, and problem-solving while helping newer members develop technical skills, including changing bearings and adjusting gear ratios.”

He also enjoys being on the swim team, volunteering with the Nazarene Church, designing 3D models, racing, playing video games, and traveling with his family.

Watts’ future plans include becoming an electrical engineer. He credits his father’s company for strengthening his interest in electrical engineering technology.

“I hope to use my career to continue learning, contribute to my community, and give back to others who have helped me along the way.”

Hayden Low is a senior at Jennings County High School with a GPA of 3.3.

His extracurriculars include basketball, baseball, FFA, and he is a member of the National Honor Society.

“I have spent many hours helping out my community, from plowing and shoveling people's driveways after big snow storms, to helping out at food drives in the community. I love to hang out with my friends and family, and spend most of my time outdoors.”

Low’s future plans include studying business.

Lilly Endowment Scholarship finalist spotlight!

Addelynn Herch is a Jennings County High School senior with a GPA of 3.6 and ranked #19 in her class. She has taken multiple dual/AP credit classes.

Her extracurriculars include cross-country, track and field, and advanced chamber orchestra. She also assists with the middle school’s cross-country and track meets.

“I like to read, bake, craft, and I work in my free time.”

Herch’s future plans include studying human biology with the goal of earning her M.D. and becoming a psychiatrist.

Emily Ebbing is a Jennings County High School senior and ranked #5 in her class. She is a member of the National Honor Society and on the Student Council.

Her extracurriculars include swimming, tennis, Touch of Class, German Club, where she serves as president, and German National Honor Society. She also volunteers with Best Buddies.

Ebbing’s future plans include studying English education with the goal of becoming an English teacher.

Amilia Gresham is a senior at Jennings County High School with a GPA of 3.8. She is ranked #10 in her class, is a member of the National Honor Society, and has taken numerous AP credit classes.

Her extracurriculars include golf and basketball, where she serves as the team captain of both, and the National Art Honor Society. She also volunteers her time with Operation Christmas Child and the Lady Panther Youth Basketball Camp.

“My personal interests involve spending time with my family, gardening, art, fashion, and sports.”

Gresham’s future plans include studying interior design or studio art, while also minoring in business marketing. She also plans to earn her real estate license.
