You’ve been waiting for it. That lovely friendly farmers market on Waterford common will begin July 6th. You will find raw dairy products, goat cheeses and soap, spices, canned goods,sourdough bread, meats, pies and other baked goods.

🎉 1 Year of The Laughing Loon! 🎉

We couldn’t let this milestone pass without saying “thank you” to the incredible community that has made it possible.

We opened our little shack last year with the simple goals of serving high quality food, offering genuine hospitality, and creating a place people can gather and enjoy themselves. There’s nothing better than seeing friends, families, neighbors, and even complete strangers share a meal and connect with each other at our picnic tables. Those moments make the challenges of running a small independent restaurant worth it.

A huge thank you to everyone who has stopped by, shared a meal with us, recommended us to a friend, written a positive review, or supported us in any way. Most importantly, thank you to our many faithful regulars who are the engine of our success. We’ve gotten to know so many of you by name, and are always happy to see your faces at our service window. Every visit means more to us than you know.

A special shoutout to Kevin and Kristin Waterhouse, our gracious landlords who operated the stand before us, and whose unwavering support has meant so much to us. Lastly, thank you to our amazing staff. These hard working local kids show up every day with positive attitudes, strong work ethics, and a genuine desire to make sure every guest has an excellent experience. We are incredibly proud of them, and The Loon wouldn’t be what it is without their dedication.
