💜Who is ready for fresh blackberries? 🙋‍♀️

Life on the farm has been keeping us busy, and while we’ve been a little quiet online, the blackberry bushes have been hard at work.

The berries are starting to blush red, which means blackberry season is almost here! If Mother Nature cooperates, we’re expecting our first ripe berries within the next couple of weeks.

There’s something special about this time of year, watching the bushes transform from blooms to berries and knowing that summer is just around the corner. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Harmony Ridge Homestead for another blackberry season.

Keep an eye on our page over the next few weeks for updates on ripening, picking opportunities, and farm happenings. We have missed sharing the farm with you all and look forward to another season of fresh berries, smiling faces, and sweet summer memories.

We’re under a freeze warning tonight, with temperatures expected to drop into the low 30s. For many people, it’s just a cold night but for farmers across our state, it can have a serious impact on this season’s crops and our livelihoods.

Our blackberries are in bloom, which makes them especially vulnerable. A freeze at this stage can mean significant loss.

We’re doing everything we can on our end alarms are set for 3 AM, and the sprinklers are ready to go in hopes of protecting the blooms. Nights like this are part of farming, but they never get easier.

We’re praying the freeze either misses us or causes very little damage. We’ll be out there before sunrise doing all we can to save this crop.

This weekend was a mad dash sprint to get all of our dahlias dug before the massive cold 🥶 front moves through over the next two days but WE DID IT 🙌! Thank you to my partner in crime Marty ❤️‍🔥 Dude!!! You’re the real hero of this game. No way I could’ve done this without you.
We’re upping our dahlia game moving forward. More on that to come in the future so stay tuned.

🎃These are huge and make the perfect jack-o-lanterns. All proceeds from these pumpkins will go to Matthew Hodge to help pay for medical expenses 💙.

Halloween is just one week away, and we still have lots of big, beautiful carving pumpkins at the farm stand waiting for you! These are perfect for porch displays, family carving nights, or a last-minute fall photo op.

✨ All proceeds go directly to support a local family. 27 year old Matthew Hodge recently sustained a spinal cord injury with paralysis in a dirt bike accident. Every penny of every pumpkin purchased helps make a difference in their recovery journey.

💛 🎃Pumpkins for a Purpose at Harmony Ridge Homestead 🎃💛

Sometimes, community means showing up for each other even in small, simple ways. This week, we’ve filled our little farm stand with 50 big, beautiful carving pumpkins 🎃 Each one is $15, and every penny will go directly to help a local family walking through an unthinkably hard time.

A 27-year-old husband and father in our community was recently in a dirt bike accident that left him paralyzed from a spinal cord injury. He was the main source of income for his young family, and has no health insurance. They’re now facing a long road ahead, filled with uncertainty and mounting expenses.

We can’t change what happened, but together, we can lighten their load one pumpkin at a time.

Our farm stand is open on the honor system (as always 💛).
You can pay with cash or Venmo — there’s a Venmo QR code posted on the door for easy payment.

Stop by, grab a pumpkin (or two!), and know that you’re doing something truly meaningful for a local family in need.

🍂🎃 It’s Fall Market Day! 🎃🍂

We’re all set up at the Farmers Market today from 7:20–12:00, and it’s a beautiful morning to come out and enjoy the fall vibes! 🍁

You’ll spot Bluebell, our little blue mini truck, loaded down with pumpkins, mums, fresh-picked blackberries, and our homemade seedless blackberry jelly, perfect for weekend breakfasts or fall gift baskets. 🧡🫐

There are lots of wonderful local vendors here today, too from baked goods to handmade crafts and autumn décor. It’s the perfect Saturday stop for everything cozy and seasonal.

Come say hi, grab a pumpkin (or two 😉), and soak in all the fall goodness!

Harmony Ridge Homestead and Bluebell have been invited back to the *Pumpkin Market* at the Wilkes County Farmers Market, and we couldn't be more excited! 🍂

This year, we're bringing 🎃ALL the pumpkins🎃– big, small, white, orange, green, and every color in between!

Come visit us in downtown North Wilkesboro and support local farmers. It’s the perfect chance to stock up on fall decorations and enjoy the season’s best!

We are truly humbled and grateful to have been asked once again to provide floral arrangements for FaithFest this year 🌸✨. What an honor to be part of such an incredible local event that uplifts, encourages, and brings our community together.

The blessings we received from the artists’ music and testimonies, the powerful sermons, and the worship that filled the air are beyond words. The Spirit of God was moving in such a beautiful way, and it’s clear He has big plans for the future of FaithFest. 🙌

A special thank you to The Dahlia Patch on Tayson for generously sharing extra dahlias with us so we could help make this event even more beautiful. We’re so thankful to play even a small role in what God is doing through FaithFest and can’t wait to see how it continues to grow. 💜
