Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads and father figures out there! We’re incredibly blessed with the wonderful fathers in our lives and that includes our hardworking bull dads, too! From protecting their herd to helping raise the next generation, they play an important role here on the farm.

Our minds are still on the Carolina coast, but our bodies are back in the pasture sweating through 90 degree days. The ocean breeze spoiled us because this Western North Carolina heat is hitting a whole lot harder now! The beach was good for the soul, but coming home to these cows reminds us why we love this life. Now if we could just bring that ocean breeze back with us!

Happy Wednesday, friends! ☀️ Sorry we've been a tad MIA lately! We decided to temporarily trade cow p**p, muddy boots, and 90 degree "why do we live here?" weather for some salt air and beach views down on the Carolina coast. Don't worry the cows have been left with the most qualified babysitters money can’t buy (mostly because they were voluntold). We're pretty sure the cows are enjoying their vacation from us just as much as we're enjoying ours from the endless mud, heat, and fly swatting. If anyone needs us, we'll be conducting very important research on whether the beach or the farm is better for afternoon naps. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Happy actually Thursday friends! If you happened to scroll back to yesterday’s post, you’ll see this long week has apparently left me a little date challenged over here?! Between the off and on rain, muddy boots, and animals keeping us on our toes, I guess the days are all blending together! But honestly, we’re not complaining one bit these rainy days have the pastures looking happier, the dust settling down, and everyone around here feeling grateful. Let’s get ready for the weekend!

Happy Thursday friends! Jojo is fully in his wedding season era! He’s loving the attention, the photos, and honestly the vibes… but let’s be clear he cleans up nice, just don’t mistake him for the groom?! We’ve had a blast working with QC Beer Burros and all of their super sweet burros babes!
