Thankful to for their annual one day sales to the general public. I'm happy the company enables access and a variety of trees for a fair price. It's encouraging to meet so many people planting trees on their property.
200 two year old Douglas Firs. 150 will go into The Preserve.
The remaining 50 have already crossed two bridges over Puget Sound to find their forever homes in the appropriatley named area of Longbranch.

After almost 3" of rain in 48 hours we have water, water everywhere.
The deluge brought a Virginia Rail to Red Tail Marsh.
Kudos to Cornell's Merlin Bird ID app. Without the trusty Merlin app I might've thought this was a really odd, loud frog.
